Yokohama Marinos keep tabs on Celtic ace Nakamura

The Daily Mail says the Japanese international has been offered the chance to extend his contract beyond 2009, but wants to return home.

Yokohama Marinos are on record as being keen to sign their prodigal son.

Nakamura, meanwhile, is set to sit out this weekend's home game with Aberdeen.

The inflamed knee which ruled the playmaker out of the Benfica Champions League game is healing slowly and doubts now exist over his fitness for the Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk next week.
