Everton defender Joseph Yobo is on the verge of signing a five-year deal with the club.
The Nigerian international has two years left on his current contract but manager David Moyes is keen to wrap up the 28-year old for the long-term.
According to Yobo's agent John Shittu, the deal almost looks done.
"Joe loves Everton and he is happy at the club so the negotiations have been straightforward," Shittu told KickOffNigeria.com.
"This is possibly his last major contract and it is important for us to see that he is well taken care of.
"Fortunately, the club are also happy with him and really want to keep him so there is agreement both ways."
