Everton defender Joseph Yobo is in limbo after seeing a move to Fenerbahce fall through.

Yobo is ready to return Istanbul for pre-season training but is desperate for his future to be resolved quickly.

"Preparations began for the new season, but my condition is still not clear," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"The club's (Fenerbahce's) silence makes me sad. This situation cannot continue like this."
