Everton defender Joseph Yobo believes Anderson da Silva has a big role to play this season.

Yobo told evertonTV of the Brazilian midfielder: "Anderson is proving he is a good player and the goal against Bremen will give him confidence.

"It was tough when he came here last season but now he is more integrated in the squad. He is showing he is a tough player."
