Joseph Yobo is convinced Everton pal Yakubu Aiyegbeni is primed to get back on the goal trail against Aston Villa.

"I've spoken to Yak because - like everyone else - he hasn't been the same since we got knocked out of Europe," Yobo told evertonfc.com.

"Yak hasn't scored for a few games but others need to score as well. But the thing with strikers is if they score, they are going to get confidence and if Yak gets a goal in the first half on Sunday he will change the game completely.

"If you a professional player, these are the games that you want to be involved in and we know there is something big at stake."
