Former Palmeiras defender Yerry Mina is thrilled with his move to Barcelona.

Mina's transfer was finally wrapped up this week and he will be presented as a Blaugrana player on Saturday at midday.

Prior to that unveiling, he spoke to the club's media channel for the first time following the move.

"For me, it is an indescribable pride to be here. I've always dreamed of it," said Mina.

"Now, I have the opportunity to be here and share a pitch with great players like [Lionel] Messi, [Gerard] Pique and [Samuel] Umtiti.

"They are the best players in the world and I look forward to achieving our objectives and winning titles together."

However, before he even thinks about focusing on trophies, he is looking forward to picking up a thing or two from his new teammates.

"Firstly, I just want to learn a lot from the best players in the world," he added.

"Barcelona are a very solid, compact team that has a lot of possession. This is the best team in the world."
