Yebda on the way out at Portsmouth

Hassan Yebda is set to quit Portsmouth because the club does not want to pay £4milion for his services.

The 25-year old Algeria international is on loan from Portuguese club Benfica but Pompey, who are in a dire position financially, cannot afford him and don't want to take him permanently meaning he could be free to leave the south coast club.

"I could have left in January but the money problems made it difficult. I don't think I will be staying now but I'm hoping that there is a chance for me to stay in England," he said.

It is believed Spanish outfit Sevilla are interested as well as some unnamed Premier League clubs.
