Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is confident a successful title defence.
Toure reckons Roberto Mancini's men can hold on to the title next season.
"Yes [we can defend the title] and the season will be very exciting," said Yaya. "We've seen a couple of the transfers Chelsea have done and Manchester United, too.
"But it will be very hard because it will not be just those teams but also Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle.
"Now we are champions everyone will want to beat us and play even harder against us.
"Me and Kolo have spent a long time playing for the national team and we haven't won anything yet
"The lads are very positive but we need to improve and work hard because next season will be very difficult.
"It will not be easy. I have never changed my opinion that the Premier League is the most competitive league in the world.
"You see all the best players from the other countries coming to the Premier League. They want to show they are No 1.
"It will be very, very hard to play teams like Arsenal, United, Liverpool and Newcastle but we hope to repeat last season and win the Premier League title again."
