New York Yankees president Randy Levine suggests MLS expansion franchise New York City FC could end up making their home outside of the 'five boroughs'.
The Yankees, who co-own the new club with Manchester City, made an announcement earlier this week that they will play their debut MLS season in 2015 out of Yankee Stadium.
The plan is only temporary as NYCFC seek a more permanent home which could eventually be made outside of New York according to Levine.
"This is here, until there's another venue," Levine said.
"The Yankees are the primary tenant. The schedule revolves around the Yankees. There's no timetable.
"There's been dialogue, we're looking at sites. If not New York City, then other sites. I never rule out anything. But I'm one voice."
