Yallop demands better from Quakes

Following San Jose Earthquakes' defeat to New England Revolution head coach Frank Yallop is looking for his team to make their own luck. "I never say we were very unlucky, but we were very unlucky," Yallop said half-jokingly to his team's official website. "I don't like to say it because you create your own luck. But really, for New England to get three points out of that game, they were lucky. We got in some great positions. We delivered some great balls, but maybe it is a confidence thing for Cam [Weaver] and Pablo [Campos]. They're brand new to us. Maybe they were just a little nervous, a little anxious.

"But in general our play was great. I'm excited about the game on Saturday, and it's a long season. We just have to make sure we finish off teams when we get them on the ropes."

San Jose host Western Conference rivals Houston Dynamo on March 28th.
