Yakubu: I chose Blackburn over QPR

Yakubu Aiyegbeni admits he chose Blackburn Rovers over QPR.

The ex-Everton man confirms there was an approach from the West London club, who were also keen on team-mate Chris Samba.

Yakubu said: "I know QPR wanted me but I'd made up my mind I'm not going there so I told them.

"I want to achieve things here, like keeping the club in the Premier League."
