Yakubu Aiyegbeni is convinced Everton can follow former club Middlesbrough's example and reach the UEFA Cup final.

"The Boro side had confidence that we would get to the final and it is the same here," he said. "We want to get to the final and we want to win it but there is still such a long way to go. We are not frightened of anyone because the confidence is there."
