Yakubu Aiyegbeni admits Blackburn Rovers felt they'd let themselves down after their 3-3 draw with Norwich City.
Grant Holt popped up with a late equaliser for the Canaries.
"Yes, we deserved more," said Yakubu, whose fierce shot past John Ruddy had restored Blackburn's lead after a fine volley from Steve Morison.
"When we scored to go 3-1 up, we thought we had three points in our hands. But we didn't get them. We felt a little bit bad but what can we do? We need to go back to training and work really hard to get ready for Chelsea.
"It's quiet in the dressing room - like we lost. We just have to work really hard and hopefully we can get three points. The whole season we've been unlucky.
"It was the same against Newcastle but what can you do? We have to stick together. Luck is not on our side at the moment but it will change - we believe it will change and our season will start again."
