New Tottenham signings Yago Falque and Cristian Ceballos were due to taste action last night against Kettering Town.
Yago, an attacking midfielder, arrived on a season-long loan from Juventus having spent last season on loan at Villarreal B. Cebellos can also operate as an attacking midfielder or a forward and spent seven years with Barcelona after joining them aged 11.
Spurs development coach Tim Sherwood told the club's website: "Yago is very tidy, typically Spanish, plays in tight areas very well and looks to play narrow off the right or left-hand side," said Tim. "In fact, he's comfortable anywhere across the midfield.
"Cristian is also an excellent player and we hope to see them play well for us at Kettering."
