Granit Xhaka insists Arsenal can catch league leaders Manchester City.

The Gunners maintained the 12 point gap with City after they defeated their north London rivals Tottenham 2-0 on Saturday.

Despite being undefeated so far this season, Xhaka is adamant Pep Guardiola's side can be chased down by the trailing pack.

"I think in football everything is possible," Xhaka told Sky Sports.

"Manchester City, at the moment, are on a very good run, they're doing very well and others have dropped points - which they haven't done - but it's conceivable that they could drop points as well."
