Xavi was tearful as he bid farewell to the Nou Camp yesterday.

The Barcelona midfielder addressed fans after their 2-2 draw with Deportivo La Coruna.

"Good afternoon everyone, thanks for everything. I'm the happiest man in the world today and have been for the 17 seasons I've been here.

"I'd like to say thank you to my family, my wife, my friends, and everyone here. You've been unwavering, you're amazing. And no matter what they say, this is the best club in the world. And to finish, as the gaffer said, this hasn't finished, we want more titles and we want to be here on the seventh with you in Barcelona."
