The father of Barcelona legend Xavi has weighed into the row with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo attacked Xavi for his lack of individual awards last week after the former Barca captain had been critical of him.
Joaquin Hernandez spoke to RAC-1 about the situation.
"After the Barca game, I saw the report and the statements of Cristiano. I have not given them any importance. It does not hurt him and he will not answer. He has a lot of experience and he knows how it works. I think he will be indifferent.
"I'm nobody to say anything to Cristiano.
"He already knows what he has to do. I will not get into it. These are footballers. He has his opinion and that's very respectable."
