Barcelona legend Xavi claims that he would be happy to work with his old boss Pep Guardiola at Manchester City in the future.

Xavi was speaking after City's impressive Premier League title win at the weekend. City have an unassailable lead at the top of the table, even though five games remain.

The Spanish midfielder also spoke about the style of football being played by Guardiola's team, and why it is his favorite way of playing football.

"I respect the other ways of playing and seeing the game but this is the way I've most enjoyed playing football and now that I watch more football than ever this is the football that I most enjoy watching," he said to the Daily Mail.

"I watch City and it's a pleasure to see them play."

On working with Pep at the Etihad, Xavi responded: "Why not? Whenever I have worked with him it's been like a football Master's for me."
