Barcelona midfielder Xavi says Wednesday night's performance against Real Zaragoza was their best of the season.

Reflecting on the 4-1 victory, Xavi said: "When the results come, the confidence follows and now we cannot take our foot off the gas.

"The important thing is that we're now seeing the Barcelona that we all want to see.

"The critics from last week are now singing our praises."

On two-goal Lionel Messi, Xavi added: "He has no limits. He has incredible talent."
