Barcelona midfielder Xavi is delighted Neymar was on the scoresheet in their draw at Atletico Madrid in the first-leg of the Supa Copa.

Neymar came off the bench on Wednesday to hit the equaliser in the 1-1 draw.

"Neymar's goal was pretty important. It will give him confidence," Xavi said.

We tried to be patient and we managed to score a goal that will help us in the return leg."
