Xavi: David Villa 10-star signing for Barcelona

Xavi has welcomed Barcelona's capture of Valencia striker David Villa.

The Barca midfielder hopes to win the World Cup this summer with his new teammate.

"Villa is here to make a difference, it is a pleasure to have Villa in any team," said Xavi. "This is fantastic news. He is a great player and a great goal scorer.

"This is a ten out of ten signing by Barcelona.

"You could say he has similar characteristics to Samuel Eto'o."

On Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, Xavi added: "Villa and Cesc, if he comes too, are welcome and will continue the football that characterizes us and they'll help us achieve further success."

Tania: The EPL is living in a " Debt Planet " owners of Manchester United, Liverpool borrowed money to buy the club and are technically insolvent. Even the Chelsea FC owed money to the Russian owner who could take off all the time. EPL are up to their ears in " DEBT " Only Manchester City is relatively free to trade.
Those without financial knowledge would look at the debt and make comment without delving into what are the things supporting the balance sheet. The important factor to consider is not the amount of debt but " the asset to debt ratio " and the ability to raise revenue required to service the debt. Real Madrid and Barcelona are 2 of the biggest clubs in the world and its stars on their own can raise the revenue required to service the debts. Both Ronaldo and Messi are selling shirts like " Hot cakes " so liquidity is assured. I have doubts whether any of the EPL stars except " Torres " could replicate the business potential of these 2 Liga stars. As a consequence regardless of what report you have read and misunderstood " La Liga " is far more liquid than the EPL .

to the idiots who think La Liga is a two team league. Who remembers Atletico kicking Liverpool in Europe this season, and going on to lift the cup... Oh yeah, enough said!
