Xavi is confident he will find agreement with Barcelona over a new contract.

"Surely we will reach an agreement, because that is what we want on both sides. I have always said that I want to continue here. My dream is to retire at Barca," said Xavi.

On delays over reaching an agreement, he added: "I remain confident. The club has never said they want to sell me."
