Xabi Alonso admits Real Madrid's players believe they can achieve something special this season.
Real have kicked off the campaign in impressive form.
Xabi said: "Well, no doubt we have a good feeling about the season so far. It's important to start with a victory away from home and we're excited. We know the road ahead is long and that the first steps we take are very important. Our first was very good and we must keep this up.
"I do hope the red shirt brings us luck. I like it very much and I'm very fond of it because of my past. I hope it does give us a little extra push to be successful in the future.
"I hope we win the league title. We had a good start to the season and we have a good feeling about it. We are making progress and I believe there's even more room for improvement. There are still 36 games left and we have to take things slowly."
