Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso wants to continue his career in the US. Xabi has been linked with a return to Liverpool as he comes off contract this season. However, Punto Pelota says the midfielder and his family are now discussing the prospect of moving to the USA.

New York Red Bulls and Los Angeles Galaxy are already in contact with Xabi about a bumper two-year contract.

Xabi, 31, would play for two years in MLS before returning home to Spain to close his career with former club Real Sociedad.
