Xabi Alonso is delighted with Real Madrid's form in the Champions League.

Real will go to Galatasaray defending a 3-0 first-leg lead.

"This year we are really motivated in the Champions League. We're progressing one step at a time and although there are still some matches to go we are where we want to be," said Xabi.
