Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert was delighted for Charles N'Zogbia after his performance helped the club to a much-needed win on Sunday.
The Frenchman's sublime 78th-minute free-kick, after he won a penalty converted by Christian Benteke, helped Villa edge West Ham United 2-1 at Villa Park, moving them out of the drop zone, and the boss was complimentary of his individual showing after a slow start to the season because of a knee injury.
"The free-kick was world-class, an absolute world-class goal. He's got that in him. He's a really talented footballer," Lambert told Sky Sports.
"To be fair, over the last couple of months, Charles has been excellent. He was unlucky because he had a bad injury with his knee.
"That kept him out for six weeks or so. Since he's come back into the fold he's been excellent. He has been very good.
"He's got that X-Factor. These type of players are not easy to come by."
