Gregg Wylde insists he will not look to join Celtic after having his Rangers contract torn up yesterday.
The 20-year old midfielder, along with Mervan Celik, became the first victims of the Glasgow giants' fall into administration with reports yesterday suggesting that Old Firm rivals Celtic were set to make a move for him.
But Wylde has revealed that he simply could not do that to his beloved 'Gers even though he was with the Hoops' youth team back in 2005.
"It's something I would never consider.
"I don't want to be disrespectful but I don't think that's something I could ever do to Rangers.
"The Rangers fans have been great to me, especially since the decision was taken that I should leave.
"I wouldn't want to turn my back on them.
"How could I leave Rangers when they are in this state and go and sign for their big rivals?
"I just don't see how it's something I could consider.""There's no chance I would sign for Celtic. The last thing (ex-Rangers star) Sandy Jardine said to me before I left was 'Don't ever sign for Celtic!'" he said.
