Wycombe venue for Women's Premier League Cup Final

Wycombe Wanderers have been selected as the hosts of The FA Women's Premier League Cup Final between Barnet and Nottingham Forest on Thursday 24th March. It will be the second FA match to be staged at Adams Park this season, after the England U18s' 3-0 victory over Poland was held at the stadium in November.

"We are delighted that Wycombe Wanderers have agreed to stage this season's League Cup Final," said Thura KT Win, Chairman of The FA Women's Premier League.

"Having already hosted an England game late last year, we know Adams Park is a terrific venue for our showpiece match and I am already looking forward to an exciting final.

"Wycombe are pushing for promotion in League 2 and we hope that many of the club's supporters come along to the final to watch either Barnet or Nottingham Forest lift the trophy."

Wanderers' chief executive Chris Thomas said: "We are extremely proud to be hosting The FA Women's Premier League Cup Final and are delighted to be working with the country's footballing body once again to stage such a prestigious event.

"Our reputation as a family-orientated club, coupled with The FA's expertise in organising fixtures on a national and international stage, create an excellent partnership which I am sure will guarantee a first-class occasion for everyone involved."
