Wycombe Wanderers have snapped up Wigan Athletic midfielder Lewis Montrose.
Montrose was released by Wigan at the end of last season and joins Wycombe on a free transfer.
Wycombe boss Peter Taylor first became aware of the 20-year-old when he was on loan at Chesterfield last term and he is delighted to have brought him in.
"I've kept tabs on Lewis ever since we played against Chesterfield. I've also spoken to a few people I know at Wigan and that's why I have followed up my interest," Taylor told the club's official website.
"I'm delighted to sign a young player and I hope that with some games and experience he will kick on."
