Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes the relationship between Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho and fans remains strained after two seasons in charge.
Wright insists Mourinho is the wrong fit for the club's traditions.
“He's had a manager that has been very tetchy all season," Wright told Sky Sports of Mourinho.
“We know he's not got a history, Jose, of really bringing through youth players, youth-team players.
“I think he has gone to a club like Man United and he's got players that have come through the youth from a club that predominantly continues to bring through youth players.
“Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford in this particular instance.
“And I feel the Man United fans are a little bit disappointed in the way he's treated Rashford.
“Watching Rashford when he plays for England and watching Rashford playing the other day against Costa Rica was me watching a player who has got total faith from his manager.
“A manager who has total faith and has give him responsibility to go and play and go and express yourself and I think we saw that."
