Arsenal legend Ian Wright has likened Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah to Barcelona star Leo Messi.

Salah struck twice for Liverpool in victory over Leicester City on Saturday.

Wright said on Match of the Day: "I'm not saying he is as good as who I am going to say but dare I say it.

"He reminds me of [Lionel] Messi, the scampering way he plays, he has a Messi-vibe."

The lofty praise followed yet another impressive display from the forward who earned Liverpool an important win against the Foxes.
