Shaun Wright-Phillips says Manchester City are now showing the necessary steel needed to achieve something special this season.
After victory over Wolves, SWP told City's website: "We played some lovely football, especially in the first half - a few of us started to tire in the second and had to dig deep.
"We never thought that it was going to be an easy game against Wolves. We'd already seen them and knew the way they played, and we tried not to take it easy at all.
"The gaffer just told me he wanted me to go in there and impose myself the best I could. But the main thing that stands up for me is that we've kept three clean sheets, two away from home.
"We have to keep that going. Everybody is working hard for the team, and the front men are doing their shift and pressing defenders, making life difficult for them."
