Bradley Wright-Phillips will be closely monitored after injuring his hamstring on the weekend.
The English striker was subbed off in the first half of New York Red Bulls' 1-0 win over FC Dallas on Sunday and is in major doubt for next weekend's clash with Western Conference leaders Seattle Sounders.
"We know that it was serious enough that he had to be taken off the field, he couldn't continue," said Red Bulls head coach Mike Petke.
"But as how severe it is, I have no clue. I'll have that in the next day or so."
Since arriving on a free from Charlton Athletic in July, Wright-Phillips has made four starts for five appearances with New York.
