Shan Wright-Phillips hailed Manchester City's character after their Carling Cup semifinal first-leg win over Manchester United.
Carlos Tevez snapped up his 16th and 17th goals of a remarkable season to wipe out Ryan Giggs' opener and give the Blues a 2-1 lead to take to Old Trafford for the second leg.
"It was a very satisfying win," declared Wright-Phillips to City's website. "The players showed great character to come from a goal down.
"What we have to do is savour this tonight and then put it aside, we have a game on Sunday night that we have to win and we will be back in training for that match tomorrow morning. Preparation is everything."
SWP added: "Carlos Tevez was fantastic again for us, he has been unbelievable all season. His energy is superb but everyone played their part in what was a memorable win and that's a few we have had over United in recent seasons."
