Wow! Pogba blanks Mourinho to spark fresh Man Utd tension

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has thrown fresh doubt on his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.

Despite Mourinho making Pogba captain for Friday's 2-1 win over Leicester City, the Frenchman chose to add to doubts over his relationship with his manager in the aftermath.

Pogba, 25, highlighted coaches Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna but NOT Mourinho following Friday's 2-1 win over Leicester.

He said: “It makes me proud to wear this armband. For me, it's a dream come true.

“I always give my best for fans, my team-mates and for people who trust me.

"Carrick talked to me, Kieran came to me and they spoke about United, what a big club it is, how people look up to me, about coming from the academy, stuff like that.

“When you are comfortable, when people trust you, you are good in the head and it's easier.

“If you're not happy with doing what you're doing, there's no point doing it.

“There's no point doing things for money. There is a point in doing things because you love it.

“If you're not happy, you cannot give your best."

Then came that tinderbox reply when he was asked point-blank 'are you happy and comfortable then Paul?'

The World Cup-winner replied: “There are things... and then there are things that I cannot say otherwise I will get fined."
