Cristiano Ronaldo wants to see Real Madrid sign another Portugal international.

Ronaldo is concerned seeing two of his closest friends at Real, Pepe and Fabio Coentrao, leaving the club this summer.

While he's in dispute with management over new contract talks and an outstanding tax bill, Ronaldo has also made it clear he's unhappy seeing Pepe and Coentrao pushed out.

Diario Gol says Ronaldo has recommended to Real president Florentino Perez that he move for Sporting CP winger Gelson Martins this summer.

Gelson has become close to Ronaldo this season and has asked him about life in England where Manchester United and Liverpool are keen.

Ronaldo would like to see Gelson join him in Madrid, not only for his on field impact, but as an ally inside the Real locker room.
