Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld is set to be handed a bumper pay-hike.

The Belgian has emerged as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League.

And the Mrror says he's currently thought to be earning £40,000-a-week, but Spurs are willing to bring him in line with the other top earners at the club.

That could see him increase his wages up to £100,000-a-week, the mark that chairman Daniel Levy has been unwilling to break, even for his star players.

Levy is making the move amid intense interest from Inter Milan.
