World Cup matchwinner Gotze: It was all instinct

World Cup hero Mario Gotze admits his winner against Argentina was all instinct.

The Bayern Munich man came off the bench to replace veteran Miroslav Klose, his chest and volley securing a 1-0 victory over Argentina in extra time.

"It's an unbelievable feeling, I don't know how to describe it," 22-year-old Gotze told FIFA.

"I just took the shot and didn't know what was happening. It's unbelievable. For us, the dream has become reality.

"I'm very proud of the team and extremely happy about everything that happened in Brazil.

"Every player in our team deserves named here and we're very proud to have won this trophy."
