Juan Antonio Pizzi has remained coy on his future as Saudi Arabia manager.
The Gulf nation ended a run of 12 World Cup matches without winning by beating Egypt in their final Group A match at the 2018 World Cup.
There was talk prior to kick-off that Pizzi was set to be sacked after convincing losses to Russia and Uruguay.
But speaking after Monday's win, the Argentine laid the responsibility on the Saudi football federation.
He said: "Regarding my future, the association will have to decide what to do."
Speaking on the match, Pizzi added: "Up until the Salah goal we didn't leave any gaps or make mistakes.
"After those efforts we kept possession during the first and second half. They only had two chances. We kept them in check.
"Today we kept control of the pace and possession. This was a deserved win."
