'World-class' Forster receives high praise from Celtic's Lennon

Fraser Forster was again at the top of his game as Celtic defeated Motherwell 2-0 on Saturday.

The English goalkeeper backed up his fine performance in the 1-0 Champions League loss to Barcelona by producing a stellar save to deny John Sutton late in the Parkhead clash and his showing was welcomed by Lennon who feels the former Newcastle United man could soon force his way into Roy Hodgson's Three Lions line-up.

"Fraser made a world-class save. He doesn't just save it - he bats it away," Lennon said.

"I said to him before the game not to make the accolades a short-term thing and to put pressure on the rest of the English goalkeepers. I think he is world-class."
