Manchester United chief Ed Woodward visited training yesterday. Woodward was spotted in deep conversation at Carrington with manager David Moyes less than 48 hours before tonight's transfer deadline.
Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos is being linked with a move to United today.
Moyes is happy to go as high as £25 million for Kroos, who threw a strop after being hooked by coach Pep Guardiola during victory over Stuttgart.
Guardiola later said: "He (Kroos) is an important player but things can move fast in football.
"Here today, gone tomorrow."
