Woodgate wins new Stoke deal as Upson set to go

Jonathan Woodgate has won a new contract offer from Stoke City.

The Sun says the Potters have offered Woodgate a new deal.

Boss Tony Pulis wants the ex-England centre-back to agree a 12-month extension.

The Potters are still in negotiations with Robert Huth but are preparing to offload Matthew Upson.
