Jonathan Woodgate must prove his fitness to Tottenham by the end of the month.
The Sun says the injury-plagued former England centre-half, 31, who was signed for £8million from hometown club Middlesbrough, has battled a groin problem for two years and played just ONCE last season.
He was then sidelined with an adductor injury.
Woodgate's contract expires in just over a fortnight and manager Harry Redknapp has spoken about a pay-as-you-play deal for the ex-Leeds, Real Madrid and Newcastle star.
