Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is adamant Wayne Hennessey will not be sold in January.
Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton are among Premiership clubs chasing the Wales international, who is having to put up with life on the bench at Molineux.
McCarthy said: "Someone might be able to go out on loan, but there's no way anyone will be leaving - not a chance.
"We're trying to get promoted, so why would we dilute our squad in any shape or form? We'll be trying to strengthen our squad, rather than dilute it.
"I've travelled around the world as a player at club and international level and I've never known a situation yet where everyone's completely happy.
"But then that's what competition for places is all about - if you only had 11 players, then you'd have 11 happy players.
"You wouldn't have a very good team though, once you had injuries and suspensions. When they're out, they have to fight like tooth and nail to get back in."
