Wolves winger Matt Jarvis felt he was back to his best in defeat at Manchester United.

The wide man, who made his 150th appearance for the club in Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Old Trafford which was also his 250th League outing, is benefitting from Mick McCarthy's 'back to basics' approach.

Jarvis said: "The gaffer was saying it was about getting back to what I was doing when I got called up for the England team. That's what I've been trying to do and hopefully it's working.

"The way we've played in the last few weeks has helped me get back to what I do and I'm certainly enjoying it. I've now got to keep doing that week-in week-out."
