Wolves' Adam Hammill wants more consistency from referees after a few calls went against he and his teammates yesterday.

Hammill was on the receiving end of a poor challenge by Frank Lampard in his side's eventual 2-1 loss to Chelsea moments before he was booked, like Lampard, for contact on Ashley Cole which as best minimal.

Add to that Nenad Milijas' questionable red card against Arsenal recently and Hammill wants match officials to be more prudent in their decision making in the future.

"I don't even think Ned's one was a foul but what you want is consistency," he said.

"Lampard got booked, and then straight afterwards, I got booked for closing Ashley Cole down and I never touched him.

"You can't compare those two tackles. They were totally different. There's no consistency, and that's what we need to have.

"Sometimes the bigger clubs get the decisions but I'm sure it will even itself out."
