Wolves winger Dave Edwards hopes to return before the end of January following surgery on an ankle injury.
The Wales international picked up the injury in the victory at Tottenham on December 12 and said: "I had surgery a couple of weeks ago and it's all coming along well as far as I'm aware.
"It's just a freakish thing but hopefully I won't be too long out. If all goes according to plan there's a chance it could be before the end of January."
Edwards is one of three Wolves players currently out with an ankle problem, with Michael Kightly and Andy Keogh also in the treatment room.
He added: "It would be nice to be available again and maybe the three of us could come back and refresh things a little bit if needed."
