Wolves will need to be patient under Solbakken - Henry

Wolves midfielder Karl Henry is aware that the club will need to develop under new manager Stale Solbakken.

The Molineux outfit are preparing for the upcoming Championship campaign after last season's relegation under Mick McCarthy and then Terry Connor but now with Solbakken at the helm, who has brought with him a breath of fresh air, things are extremely positive.

However, Henry knows the fans will have to remain patient as the players get to know the methods and philosophy of the Norwegian great.

"It's going to take time for us to do exactly what the manager wants us to do," he told Express & Star following the 2-2 pre-season draw with Greenhous Meadow.

"I think he wants us to be compact and difficult to break through, but at the same time, we can't be taking that too literally - we've got to get near the ball and press teams as well.

"We got the ball up to the strikers slightly quicker and then got behind the ball in support and ended up playing a bit higher up the pitch.

"It's still early days."
