Celtic must up their bid to land Stoke City winger Liam Lawrence.
The Herald says Stoke City have refused to comment on reports linking midfielder Lawrence with a £1.5m move to Celtic.
The Republic of Ireland winger would be permitted to leave the club but Stoke are believed to want around £2m for the 28-year-old, who has also been linked with Wolves.
