Wolves turn to West Ham defender Davenport

West Ham United centre back Calum Davenport is a target for Wolves.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is eyeing Davenport after being beaten by Birmingham City for former Coventry defender Scott Dann.

Davenport joined Spurs for £1.3 million in 2004 but made only 15 appearances.

However, he had more successful spells on loan to West Ham, Southampton and Norwich before the Hammers snapped him up for £3 million in January 2007.
